I am dynamically disabled and I'm often monitoring my energy or recovering throughout the week to regain my energy. My health puts limits on me, but I want to somehow show up in community.
I see all the wonderful things people are doing together, and I also have the fortune of receiving aid from loving people in my life. This inspires joy, hope, and action in me, and I want to give as I've been given to and be a part of pouring more good into the world.
However, I had to figure out what I could do without risking my wellbeing, and when I really sat down with this, I realized my divination skills are something I can share even with my limitations.
My contribution is odd, but that's what my health can offer, and what my heart wants to do. Being disabled, I live the reality that we cannot do life alone. It's scary having to rely on others, but seeing people show up for those who need support makes things a little less scary and a lot more hopeful -- and that's what I want to be a part of.
